Q. What exactly happens on a demo anyway?

The whole demonstration usually lasts about 4 to 5 minutes. Although we do a fair amount of night demos as well; if it's daytime, the crowd can see us exit the airplane and freefall until we deploy our parachutes. Then they can watch as we fly our canopies (or parachutes) through the air. Next, we set up for landing and 'wow' the crowd by speeding through their field of view to a soft landing!

Q. How much do they cost?
Demos can be quite expensive. Nearly everything related to aviation is. Some of the more major factors are: how far away the location is from where the plane we plan to use is located; how many jumpers are desired; how big the event is; how large or small the landing area is; and even the time of day and time of year. Typically, they range between $1000 and $3500. We have, however, contracted demos for as little as $500 or for as much as $14,000! I have even placed a bid on a demo exceeding $25,000!! Let's talk!!

Q. What events do you jump into?
Almost ANY outdoor event! My team and I have jumped into all kinds of football games, baseball games, soccer games, lacrosse matches, NASCAR and National Hot Rod Association events, business picnics, church functions, private parties, mall parking lots, air shows, beaches, Boy Scouts Events, Elementary Schools, and so much more!

Q. Why should I hire skydivers to jump into my event?
Accenting an event with skydivers parachuting in adds an unparalleled component! Nothing comes close to bringing the fans to their feet like parachutists swooping down from the sky! With today's higher performance, more accurate parachutes, you will watch in amazement as the game ball is delivered to the referee's hands. You will be mesmerized as the queen's crown is delivered by 'airmail'! You will be shocked to see Santa Claus swooping in to land under a parachute instead of in a sleigh behind Rudolph! And the fans will be pumped up!!

Q. What if there is inclement weather at the time of the demo?
For the demo, we prefer to have Visual Flight Rules (VFR) weather with a ceiling of 2500 ft Above Ground Level (AGL), visibility greater than 5 miles, and winds less than 15 mph. However, we are also willing to consider weather on a case by case basis. We can never seem to predict weather though. We will do all we can to put on the best performance possible while still maintaining our flawless safety record. Give me a call. Let's talk!

Q. Do you have insurance policies available for the events?
Yes. Liability Insurance Policies are available for an additional cost through a single company in the U.S. It is basically between $255 and $1051 per event based upon the level of coverage. You can see a chart here or on page 3 of the Company's Insurance application. I can say that my team and I have never had an incident requiring insurance, but insurance is just that .. insurance - it's a good 'peace of mind'. I will be happy to talk with you further and give you my opinion as to whether I feel insurance is warranted for your event or not.

Q. In what region do you typically operate?
My team and I usually stick to the Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., North Carolina, and West Virginia area. We would be happy to go outside our area, but the cost may rise significantly. I would also be happy to recommend other skydivers I may know that are located closer to your event if you like.

Q. What else can you tell me?
You WILL NOT be disappointed! We create an energized and charged atmosphere when we are flying around above the crowd, and when we swoop in to land. It is worth every penny and often times actually increases the patronage at your event!
